Gratitude that I can Read!

As an educator/counselor, I see miracles happen everyday.
I can't even begin to explain how I elated I am
I see that 'light bulb' turn on over a child's head.
The excitement they have when they
suddenly realize ~
"I am a Reader!"

awwww...aren't those just the cutest?!? Well, the first one definitely is and reminds me of myself (think I went through a pigtail phase and I had real blonde hair then!) and my love of reading (yes, mom, I'd read the books on the way home from the library, get over it, it was a good thing!!). That would make an adorable bookmark! ;0)

As for the second one, it is more elegant in a it! And it expresses the "graditude" that I have everyday for all that you have taught me...not only my love of reading, but my independence and problem-solving approach to life. Thanks so much, Mom! (are you crying yet?!?)

Thanks for playing in the D2D challenges and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Aloha, KL and Malie
