A CASE of Happy Birthday!

OK, I'm the first to admit it! I CASED this card from my own daughter, Kim - there, it's out and I feel so much better now, true confession is good for the soul! Actually, she called me today and said, "MOM, make a card! Get it done today! I don't care if you're busy or tired from waking up at 3:30 AM today, get to it, young (I made that part up) lady and make a card NOW! Man, she's tough, don't know where she gets it from....? So the card I CASED is the one she did for her DT position at 365 Cards, Day 101, Inchie X 10. Hey, I broke Pam's code for the challenges - see, it goes by the day, which this is 1 0 1. Flip it around, mix it up a little and she came up with 1" 10, or 1 inch square time 10! Which converts to and I quote, "Now I challenge you to put 10 inches on your card!"  WOW, I can do 5th grade math!

So, here is the front of the card I made today...

And this is the inside...

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
1. Create 4 Fun - recipe: black, white and color of choice
2. Everybody -Art -Challenge - Things with wings (my little lady bug button)
3. Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge - black, white, and 3rd color choice
4. Sketch Girl - the sketch I followed (well, the one Kim followed and I copied!)
5. The Corrosive Challenge - to use die cuts, look close the red scallops the inchies are mounted on.
6. The Pink Elephant - the color red, scallops and a bow
7. A Spoonful of Sugar - Floral Delight (what the lady bug is resting on)
8. Cas-Tastic Wednesday Challenge - Buttons (that's my lady bug!
9. Challenge Up Your Life - Critter Crater and bling (lady bug and stickles on candles and cake)
10. Charisma Cardz - spots and stripes
11. 365 Cards Day 101- Inchies times 10
12. Sentimental Sunday  - New or neglected stash (I have had these stamps forever, since I was addicted to E-Bay trying to buy every SU! stamp set I could get!
13. Wee Memories - to 'punch-it' (the inchies are punched as is the border birthday candles on the inside)
14. Your Next Challenge - buttons (the lady bug)
15. For Fun Challenge - Happy Birthday
16. Stamp Something - Happy Something!

Thanks for stopping by!

Not quite sure that's exactly how our conversation went...but I'm so GLAD that you made SOMETHING...even if it was just a CASE of something I did! (you did have to pick out different stamps and I know that's a bit of a challenge in and of itself!) Also I think I reminded you it had been almost TWO weeks since you'd posted anything and that's just wrong as your on summer BREAK!!! Have some fun!!!

Since it's a CASE of mine, of course, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! I also love your addition of the ribbon at the top and that cute ladybug button and flower! Great take on the 365 challenge and hope you come back and play again real soon!

Aloha, Kim

Amazing how much of a nudge we need sometimes to get us motivated again and if anyone can do it, it's gonna be one of the kids...lol
Great job on the showcase!!! Love the colors and your math equations.

Your card is beautiful! I'm new to the term CASE - can you define it for me? (I'm guessing C is for copy, but can't get any farther.)

It's fun to see the inside of the card as well as the outside. I think many of us are guilty of putting all the creativity on the front and forgetting the inside. Thanks for sharing with For Fun Challenges.
