Spring Celebrations!

A wedding card for a dear friend's daughter getting married the day before my birthday! I am entering this in three challenges with a wedding theme: Charisma Cardz, C.R.A.F.T , and One Stop Craft Challenge. Asking for bling is Crazy Challenge. A color challenge at Play Date Cafe challenged us with the colors pink, black and white.

Mother's Day Card - # 1
This is entered in the Mother's Day challenge at Raise The Bar. Polka Doodle wants to see summer blossoms (I made the flower from the same crochet lace across the front of the card). Crafty Card Makers ask for distressing (I distressed the edges of the card and the crochet lace)

<Mother's Day Card #2
to be entered in the following challenge: Handful of Stamps to be a little dotty! The following challenges for Mother's Day: CCEE Stampers and If the Shoe Fits. Also entering this card in Cooking it Up with Katie recipe challenge to 1. Make it for a special lady, 2. Punch it up, and 3. To add a brad (build a brad from SU!).    And - another flower I made by using the crochet lace trim.

Mother's Day Card # 3
that I am entering into the following Challenges with a Mother's Day theme: No Time To Stamp, The Pink Elephant and Stamptacular Sunday. Also in Dare You 2 Digi Stamp (the sentiment on front is from Sugar Creek Hallow)

 Another Mother's Day Card # 4

This graduation card was designed for a special high school senior. I have worked with her mom for many years and have know Abby since she was itty bitty! I am entering this in the following challenges Practical Scrappers to use stickers and the Cute and Girly with the theme of celebration.

Thanks for sharing your time with me - have a great weekend!

A Tree for Mother!

I have had several people at work ask me to make Mother's Day cards so I am in the process of making up some samples. This is the first sample. I was inspired by several different challenges (listed below) in putting this card together. I used SU! stamp set Thoughts and Prayers (uhhh, a sympathy set for Mother's Day?)
and SU! card stock bordering blue, almost amythest (actually just the ink, I used it to sponge the sky) and sage shadow as challenged in Color Throwdown.
This is the front...
and this is the inside...

1. Color Throwdown to use the above colors.
2. Allsorts Challenge to be inspired by a butterfly braclet ( my teeny tiny butterfly)
3. Paperplay Challenge not to use Designer paper and I didn't!
4. Card Positioning Sytems to use their sketch, perfect for this card.
5. Lots To Do Challenges to use trees and/ or leaves.
6. Paper Cutz Challenges has a theme for Mother's Day.
7. Paper Pals Challenge to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Sweetie...)

That's all for tonight. I'm hoping to make more during the evenings this week but who knows...I have Kindergarten screening this week and that, my friend, can be exhausting! But they are so cute at this age!
