BACK TO SCHOOL...

Oh yeah, Back to School! That's where I've been - getting ready for the kids! Did 2 large bulletin boards and helped the librarian with hers. Then it  was clean and put my office/classroom back in place. Paperwork, lesson plans, meetings, and lots of etc. Oh and then we (DH  and me) gutted the kitchen. He has the cabinets  in but still waiting on the sink/counter. It's been 3 weeks, how long do you wait for a sink/counter to be delivered? Getting anxious to get it done, floor in and just look at it and not cook!

Think I'll give this card to my new principal.
She has really put in some time acclimating
to her new building and getting to know all of us.

but you didn't expect that - did ya?!?

Love making slider cards, just haven't done it for quite some time
so had to dust off my engineering degree and get everything to work.
Toot is on Split Coast if you want to give it a try.

Inspiring challenges are as follows:

The ABC Challenge - "V" is for Vanish (my hidden sentiment!)

An Apple A Day!

To support my wonder DD - Kim - and her design work for Wednesday challenges at 365 Cards, I made this card to fit the challenge
Tri-Color, Day #73. I really wanted to just make the card with the red/white scheme to keep it in the CAS category, but oh no, I need to add 2 more colors to make it TRI color! After trying numerous combinations of blue, red, yellow, green, I decided to keep the 2 extra colors to a minimum. Green for the leaf and yellow on the brad. Still a CAS!

I used the sketch from
that is a perfect fit for
the vision I
had for this card.

I kept the inside simple,
mostly because I really
couldn't decide on a
purpose for it - so it
became a simple note card.

Little Red Wagon wanted brads.
Wild Flower Patch asked for Ribbon, Sparkle and Demension.
Res-Q Challenge asked for Super Foods! Apple must be good, it keeps the Dr. away!
The challenge at Totally Gorjuss is to go round and round, or use circles.
Creative Belli Challenge  asked for hole punches, did so, for the brad

Another challenge I am entering this card in is Charisma Cardz to feature a sweet treat!
Although I'm not entering the following project in Charisma Cardz I wanted to share it with you in case you need an easy gift.

To the left are candy bar wrappers I made for staff during our required MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) this year. I took an old Missouri Map and cut it up for the wrapper part. The stop sign sentiment was generated on the computer.

That's all for now - have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
